QUICK BASIL AND GARLIC PIZZA Basil, Garlic & Pine Nut Pesto
Makes 4 servings
Preheat oven to 400˚F
8 tablespoons Basil, Garlic & Pine Nut Pesto
⅓ cup EVOO
½ cup water
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 ready baked pizza crust, such as a “Boboli” crust
4 ounces feta or goat cheese
¼ cup fresh basil leaves, sliced
1. Prepare the Basil, Garlic & Pine Nut Pesto as directed on the jar. Spread on the pizza crust, taking care to leave ½” border.
2. Crumble the goat cheese or feta cheese on top and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly bubbly.
3. Remove to cutting board, decorate with the fresh basil leaves and cut into slices. Serve warm.
