BAKED NAVY BEANS Garden Vegetable Seasoning
Bake 350º F 90 minutes
1 cup Navy Beans
⅓ cup Garden Vegetable Seasoning
¾ pound bacon
1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1. Prepare Navy Beans according to package directions.
2. Meanwhile cut bacon into one inch slices and fry in skillet until crisp. Remove bacon from the skillet and set aside in medium size bowl.
3. Cook onion in bacon drippings until translucent, set aside with bacon.
4. Discard bacon drippings and cook the ground beef. Mix beef, Garden Vegetable Seasoning, bacon, onions and beans together and place in a baking dish.
NAVY BEAN SAUCE:
4 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
Mix all ingredients together. Pour sauce over bean mixture, cover and bake in 350º oven for 90 minutes.
