JALAPENO CORN MUFFINS Jalapeno Cilantro Seasoning
Makes about 12 servings Oven at 350˚F
2 cups Bisquick®
1 cup butter
1 cup half & half cream
1 cup yellow cornmeal
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 to 4 tablespoons Jalapeno Cilantro Seasoning to taste
Scald the cream with the butter; add to thoroughly mixed dry ingredients. Mix in the eggs. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 pan or cast iron skillet, or muffin pans. Bake for 30 minutes (12 – 15 minutes for muffins) or until brown and toothpick comes out clean.
