BALSAMIC GREEN BEANS Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning
Serves 4
2 tablespoons butter, divided
1 cup yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 cup red onion, thinly sliced
2 cups fresh green beans
2 tablespoons Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Aged Balsamic Vinegar
Salt & pepper to taste
1. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium saucepan over medium high heat. Add onions, garlic and Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning; sauté 2 minutes.
2. Add beef broth and cook an additional 4 minutes or until onions are tender and liquid almost evaporates.
3. Add beans and Aged Balsamic Vinegar; cover and cook 4 minutes or until beans are tender-crisp.
4. Stir in additional tablespoon butter and salt & pepper to taste. Serve hot.
