HERBED SALMON Jalapeno Cilantro Oil
Serves 4
1 red onion, cut into thin slices
3 tablespoons Jalapeno Cilantro Oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 Salmon steaks
½ cup chopped cilantro, loosely packed
¼ cup chives, chopped
Fresh ground pepper
1. Sauté onion with 2 tablespoons Jalapeno Cilantro Oil for 2 minutes. Add to the pan the remaining tablespoon of oil and butter.
2. Place salmon in the pan and sauté over a medium heat until the fish is lightly golden on both sides and just cooked through or until desired doneness is achieved.
3. Divide the salmon between four plates, sprinkle with cilantro, chives and fresh ground pepper to taste. Serve hot.
Note: Herb it Up Oil would work great with this recipe as well.
