Ingredients:

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning
  • 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ cup slivered almonds

Instructions:

  1. In a small skillet, melt the butter with Extra Virgin Olive Oil over medium-low heat. Stir in Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Boil green beans for 5 to 7 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain thoroughly.
  3. Toss hot green beans with the shallot butter mixture, chopped parsley, and slivered almonds. Serve immediately while warm.
