Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter
- 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 tablespoons Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning
- 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
- ⅓ cup chopped fresh parsley
- ½ cup slivered almonds
Instructions:
- In a small skillet, melt the butter with Extra Virgin Olive Oil over medium-low heat. Stir in Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Boil green beans for 5 to 7 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain thoroughly.
- Toss hot green beans with the shallot butter mixture, chopped parsley, and slivered almonds. Serve immediately while warm.
