Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 cup yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Aged Balsamic Vinegar
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, and Shallots, Scallions & Leeks Seasoning. Sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add beef broth and cook an additional 4 minutes or until onions are tender and liquid almost evaporates.
  3. Add green beans and Aged Balsamic Vinegar. Cover and cook for 4 minutes or until beans are tender-crisp.
  4. Stir in remaining tablespoon of butter and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot as a delicious vegetable side dish.
