Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough
  • 8 ounces whipped cream cheese
  • ½ cup Cranberry Pomegranate Sugar
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Lightly spray or brush plastic wrap with cooking oil and loosely cover the frozen bread dough. Let it thaw at room temperature for a few hours until it becomes slightly puffy and completely soft.
  2. Roll the dough out on a floured surface to roughly an 11 x 11-inch square.
  3. In a bowl, combine whipped cream cheese with Cranberry Pomegranate Sugar until smooth and evenly mixed. Spread this mixture over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border.
  4. Sprinkle the cream cheese layer with dark chocolate chips for a rich, chocolatey bite in every slice.
  5. Roll up the dough starting from one side, jelly-roll style. Place seam-side down on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
  6. Brush the top of the roll with melted butter to encourage a golden crust.
  7. Bake at 375˚F for 15–25 minutes or until golden brown. Tap the crust with your fingernail—it should sound hollow, like fresh-baked bread.
  8. Let the roll cool completely before slicing for best texture and presentation.
