Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk
  • ½ cup Mango, Cranberry, Black Currant, or Blueberry Sugar (choose one of our gourmet infused sugars)
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, warm the milk until small bubbles form along the edges. Do not bring to a full boil.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together your chosen fruit flavored sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. Slowly pour the dry mixture into the hot milk while stirring constantly to dissolve. Continue stirring until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Do not allow it to boil.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and butter until fully combined.
  5. Pour the pudding into serving bowls. Chill before serving for the best texture and flavor.

Flavor Ideas:

  • Blueberry Honey Sugar – sweet, floral, and great with granola toppings
  • Cranberry Pomegranate Sugar – tangy and festive, perfect for the holidays
  • Mango Tangerine Sugar – tropical and refreshing, great for summer
  • Black Currant Sugar – bold and rich, pairs well with dark chocolate shavings
