Mexican Monkey Bread with Jalapeno Cilantro Seasoning

This savory Mexican Monkey Bread is gooey, cheesy, and bursting with flavor thanks to our bold and zesty Jalapeno Cilantro Seasoning. Perfect for game day, parties, or anytime you need a spicy, crowd-pleasing pull-apart bread.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits, cut into eighths
  • ¼ pound butter, plus 2 tablespoons, melted
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
  • ¾ teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Jalapeno Cilantro Seasoning, divided

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Dip ⅓ of the biscuit pieces into melted butter and place them in the bottom of the pan.
  4. Top with ¾ cup shredded cheese, 1 tablespoon Jalapeno Cilantro Seasoning, and ¼ teaspoon parsley flakes.
  5. Repeat the layering process with another ⅓ of biscuit pieces, ¾ cup cheese, 1 tablespoon seasoning, and ¼ teaspoon parsley.
  6. Cover with the remaining biscuit pieces and pour over 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Sprinkle with ¼ cup cheese.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then top with the remaining ¼ cup cheese and bake an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Let rest 5 minutes. Invert bread onto a plate and serve warm.

  • Want more spice? Add another tablespoon of Jalapeno Cilantro Seasoning for extra heat.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro or serve with sour cream or salsa for dipping.
  • Use a bundt pan for a round pull-apart presentation.
