Maple Bacon Cinnamon Rolls
Makes: 9 rolls
Dough:
- 1 can sheet-style Crescent Rolls
Filling:
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup Maple Bacon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Maple Glaze:
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ⅛ teaspoon maple extract
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a small bowl, stir together all filling ingredients until well blended. (Softened butter works best here!) Set aside.
- Unroll the Crescent Roll dough into a rectangle (approximately 10×14 inches). Use a little flour if the dough sticks while rolling.
- Evenly spread the filling across the surface of the dough. Roll it tightly starting from the shorter end to form a log.
- Slice the roll into 9 equal pieces and place them into a greased 9×9” baking dish. For smaller rolls, cut into 12 and use a 9×13” dish.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
- While the rolls bake, prepare the glaze. In a bowl, beat together softened butter and powdered sugar. Mix in maple syrup, maple extract, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Once the cinnamon rolls are warm (but not too hot), spread with the maple glaze. For a finishing touch, sprinkle with extra crumbled bacon, if desired!
Why Use Maple Bacon Sugar?

Tips & Variations:
- Make ahead and refrigerate the unbaked rolls overnight. Bake fresh in the morning.
- Add finely chopped real bacon bits into the filling for extra savory flavor.
- Swap the glaze with cream cheese frosting for a decadent twist.
