Maple Bacon Cinnamon Rolls with Maple Glaze

Maple Bacon Cinnamon Rolls

Makes: 9 rolls

Dough:

  • 1 can sheet-style Crescent Rolls

Filling:

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup Maple Bacon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Maple Glaze:

  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ⅛ teaspoon maple extract
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together all filling ingredients until well blended. (Softened butter works best here!) Set aside.
  3. Unroll the Crescent Roll dough into a rectangle (approximately 10×14 inches). Use a little flour if the dough sticks while rolling.
  4. Evenly spread the filling across the surface of the dough. Roll it tightly starting from the shorter end to form a log.
  5. Slice the roll into 9 equal pieces and place them into a greased 9×9” baking dish. For smaller rolls, cut into 12 and use a 9×13” dish.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
  7. While the rolls bake, prepare the glaze. In a bowl, beat together softened butter and powdered sugar. Mix in maple syrup, maple extract, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  8. Once the cinnamon rolls are warm (but not too hot), spread with the maple glaze. For a finishing touch, sprinkle with extra crumbled bacon, if desired!

Why Use Maple Bacon Sugar?

Our Maple Bacon Sugar adds a rich, smoky-sweet flavor that takes traditional cinnamon rolls to the next level. It blends perfectly with cinnamon and brown sugar while delivering irresistible depth and that signature bacon-maple magic. Use it in baked goods, glazes, or even sprinkled over roasted veggies for unexpected flavor!

Tips & Variations:

  • Make ahead and refrigerate the unbaked rolls overnight. Bake fresh in the morning.
  • Add finely chopped real bacon bits into the filling for extra savory flavor.
  • Swap the glaze with cream cheese frosting for a decadent twist.
