- 2¾ cups chopped sweet onions

- 1 pound peeled and deveined medium shrimp, cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken broth and water to a simmer over low heat. Do not boil. Keep warm throughout the cooking process.
