Spinach Pasta Sauce with Garlic Pepper Seasoning
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 10 oz packaged baby spinach leaves
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- ¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Pepper Seasoning (or to taste)
- 3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound angel hair or linguine pasta
Instructions:
- Prick the spinach bag and microwave on a paper towel-lined plate for 3–4 minutes until just wilted. Carefully open and transfer spinach to a large bowl, roughly chopping it with two knives. Set aside.
- In a large sauté pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until lightly golden, about 2 minutes.
- Add cream and chicken broth. Simmer gently for 2 minutes.
- Stir in chopped spinach and simmer another 3 minutes. Season with salt and Garlic Pepper Seasoning.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions.
- Pour sauce into a blender and pulse until smooth. Return to pan, reheat, and stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately over hot pasta for a creamy, herb-packed meal.
