Creamy Shrimp Pasta with Sundried Tomato Oil
This luscious pasta dish combines tender shrimp, juicy grape tomatoes, and fresh basil in a velvety cream cheese sauce, all elevated by the bold taste of our infused Sundried Tomato Oil. The Garlic Pepper Seasoning adds a peppery, aromatic kick that takes this pasta to the next level.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups farfalle pasta, uncooked
- ¼ cup Lesley Elizabeth Sundried Tomato Oil
- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Pepper Seasoning (or more to taste)
- 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 2 cups grape tomatoes
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 8 fresh basil leaves, cut into strips
Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta:
Cook the farfalle according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Sauté the Shrimp:
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat 2 tablespoons of Sundried Tomato Oil. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes or until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp using a slotted spoon and cover to keep warm. Discard any remaining drippings.
3. Build the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the remaining Sundried Tomato Oil, chicken broth, and Garlic Pepper Seasoning. Cook for 2 minutes. Stir in cream cheese and cook until fully melted and smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
4. Finish the Dish:
Add grape tomatoes and cook for 1 more minute. Stir in the drained pasta, Parmesan cheese, and half the basil. Top with shrimp and garnish with the remaining basil.
Why This Recipe Works:
- Sundried Tomato Oil adds deep, savory flavor without effort.
- Garlic Pepper Seasoning gives balanced heat and depth.
- Cream cheese makes the sauce rich and comforting.
- Fresh basil and tomatoes add brightness and freshness.
