Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons Oh! so Garlic! Seasoning
  • ½ cup Chili Chipotle Oil
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 12 fresh asparagus spears, blanched in salted water
  • 1 strip loin steak (about 1 pound), semi-frozen
  • ½ cup fresh Parmesan cheese, shaved

Instructions:

  1. Make the marinade by combining lime juice, Oh! so Garlic! Seasoning, and Chili Chipotle Oil in a small bowl. Place in a marinating dish or large resealable bag.
  2. Season the semi-frozen strip loin steak with salt and fresh ground black pepper. Cut into 12 long, thin strips.
  3. Wrap each beef strip around one asparagus spear. Add wrapped asparagus to the marinade. Chill for 1 hour or overnight for best flavor.
  4. Heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Cook the beef-wrapped asparagus until the beef is nicely browned and cooked through.
  5. Remove from pan and garnish with shaved Parmesan curls made using a vegetable peeler.
