Beef Tips with Egg Noodles

Looking for a savory and satisfying weeknight dinner? These tender beef tips with egg noodles are packed with flavor thanks to Lesley Elizabeth’s Garden Vegetable Seasoning and high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This one-pot comfort dish brings together juicy chunks of beef, a rich wine-based gravy, and buttery egg noodles for the ultimate homestyle meal.

Ingredients (Serves 4):

  • 2 ½ pounds beef chuck roast, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
  • 1 medium onion, shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup dry red wine (preferably Cabernet)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Garden Vegetable Seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ cup water
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles

Instructions:

1. Sear the Beef

In a large braising pot, heat Lesley Elizabeth EVOO over medium-high heat. Add cubed beef in batches, browning each side for 5–7 minutes to create a rich crust. Remove the beef once browned.

2. Build the Base

In the same pot, add shredded onion and reduce heat to medium. Sauté until soft, then add garlic. Stir and pour in red wine, scraping up the flavorful bits from the bottom. Let wine reduce until nearly evaporated.

3. Simmer to Perfection

Return browned beef to the pot. Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Garden Vegetable Seasoning. Liquid should cover the meat by about an inch. Cover and simmer on low for 45–60 minutes, checking for tenderness and adding broth as needed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Thicken the Sauce

Mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir into simmering beef and bring to a gentle boil, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Sauce will thicken into a rich gravy.

5. Serve

Serve hot over cooked egg noodles for a hearty, flavorful dish your whole family will love.
