Easy Balsamic Reduction

Using Lesley Elizabeth Aged Balsamic Vinegar or any flavored variety

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Lesley Elizabeth Aged Balsamic Vinegar (or any flavored balsamic vinegar)

Instructions:

  1. Pour ½ cup of Aged Balsamic Vinegar into a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Continue simmering until the vinegar has reduced by half and thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool. The reduction will continue to thicken as it cools.

Storage Tips:

  • Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to several weeks.
  • If overcooked and it hardens, reheat gently with a small splash of water to loosen the consistency.

This easy recipe is perfect with roasted chicken, grilled vegetables, caprese salad, or even as a sweet drizzle over vanilla ice cream. Try experimenting with our flavored balsamic vinegars like Fig Balsamic or Strawberry Balsamic for delicious variations!
