TOASTED PITA SALAD Pepper & Garlic Seasoned Sea Salt
2 (6 inch) pitas breads, split in half horizontally
3 cups chopped tomatoes
1 ½ cups chopped English cucumber
¼ cup finely chopped red onion
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons Pepper & Garlic Seasoned Sea Salt
4 teaspoons EVOO
½ teaspoon honey
1. Preheat oven to 350⁰F.
2. Place pitas on a baking sheet: bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes or until crisp. Cool completely; break into small pieces.
3. Combine tomatoes and next 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
4. Combine lime juice and remaining ingredients in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk. Pour juice mixture over tomato mixture; toss gently. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
